This website is operated by Bare Design Studio Limited, trading as Care Home Marketing Co. (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10395852), with our registered office at Grassroots, 46 Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6HT.

What we collect and why
We only collect personal data that we genuinely need. Depending on how you use the site, that may include:

Contact and enquiry details — your name, care home, email, phone number and message — when you submit our enquiry, discovery-call or contact forms.

Free Enquiry Review responses — the information you provide when completing the diagnostic, so we can prepare your results.

Newsletter details — your email address when you subscribe.

Usage data — information about how you use the site, collected in two ways: privacy-friendly first-party statistics stored on our own server, and Google Analytics cookies that are set only with your consent (see Cookies, below).

Phone call details — if you call the phone number shown on our website, we receive your phone number (unless you have withheld it), the date, time and length of the call, and any voicemail message you leave.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law we must have a lawful basis for using your personal data. We rely on:

Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers (“processors”) who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:

Google Analytics (Google Ireland/LLC) — to understand how visitors use our site. Its cookies are set only if you accept analytics cookies; until then it receives only anonymous, cookieless signals.

SureContact (surecontact.com) — to manage and send our email newsletter, where you have subscribed.

Our website host and IT providers — to store and serve the website and its data securely.

OpenAI (ChatGPT ads measurement) — only with your consent, to measure whether an ad we ran in ChatGPT brought you to the site.

Twilio (Twilio Inc. and Twilio Ireland Limited) — our telephone provider. It connects calls made to the number shown on our website, forwards them to us, and stores the call record and any voicemail you leave.
We may also disclose your data if required by law, or to protect our legal rights.
International data transfers
Some of our providers (such as Google and Twilio) may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as UK-approved Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision — so your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, and help us understand how it's used.
The cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choices. These don't need consent.

Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to measure visits and improve the site. These are only set if you choose “Accept all” (or switch analytics on in the preference centre), and you can change your mind at any time.

First-party site statistics — a privacy-friendly visit counter that runs on our own website. It uses a random identifier to count visits and show us which pages are useful; the data stays on our server, is never shared with anyone else, and cannot identify you. Because of this, UK law does not require consent for it — but you can still switch it off at any time under “Site statistics” in the cookie preference centre.

Advertising measurement — if you arrive from one of our ads (for example in ChatGPT), an OpenAI measurement cookie may tell us the ad worked. This is only set if you choose “Accept all”.

Marketing source cookie — remembers which channel first brought you to the site (for example a search engine, a social post, an email or an AI assistant), so that when someone calls or taps our phone number we can see which of our marketing is actually working. It holds no personal details, lasts 90 days, and is only set if you choose “Accept all” (or switch analytics on in the preference centre).
Beyond this, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies that build a profile of you across other websites.
Managing cookies
When you first visit, we ask for your cookie preferences. You can change your mind at any time using the small cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of any page, which reopens the preference centre — or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
Marketing & the newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we'll send you occasional emails with marketing and occupancy insights, using our email marketing tool. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time — we'll stop straight away. You can also email us to be removed.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or as long as the law requires. Enquiry and client records are kept for the duration of our relationship and a reasonable period afterwards; newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Call records and voicemail recordings held by our telephone provider are kept for no longer than 12 months, and we delete voicemails once your enquiry has been dealt with. We review and delete data we no longer need.
How we keep it safe
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take all reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

Children
Our website and services are aimed at care providers and businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Please check back occasionally to stay informed.
